New show season starts now!

We’re thrilled to kick off a brand-new season at the Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society as we celebrate our 95th year, and this time we’re diving into one of G&S’s most dramatic and operatic works — The Yeomen of the Guard (or The Merryman and His Maid) - a show that the Society has only done six times!

It all starts on Thursday the 8th of May  with our Presentation Evening, where our Director James will share his exciting vision for this beautiful and rarely done show. Whether you're a returning member or thinking about joining us, it’s the perfect chance to find out more.

We’re particularly on the lookout for more men to join our talented and friendly company. We perform to a high standard, but we're a nurturing and encouraging bunch — if you're passionate and committed, you'll fit right in.

Known as 'one of Suffolk's friendliest groups', don’t hesitate to join us and experience the joy, diversity, talent and fun that defines the Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society - where we make memories as well as music!
